range from 8 to 20 depending on the size and style of the vessel.

| Please
note there is a fee levied on all passengers
to cover park entry fees and administration
costs. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park
Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife
charge fees for entry into the Marine and
National Parks. The overall fee includes
these costs and administrative costs. These
are subject to change and are payable either
at check-in or upon boarding. At the time
of printing a total fee of $9 per full day
is recommended by the Whitsunday Charter
Boat Industry Association to cover these
costs and includes EMC (Environmental Management
Charge or Reef Tax) of $4.50 per day, Commercial
Activity Permit Fee of $1.30 per day, Administration
Fees of $2.90 per day plus GST. |
